California Chiropractic Association Honors Assemblyman Jones with Chiropractic Champion Award

The California Chiropractic Association (CCA) honored Assemblyman Brian Jones (R-Santee) as a Chiropractic Champion. Established in 1928, the California Chiropractic Association (CCA) is a statewide, nonprofit organization of chiropractic doctors and allied industries. CCA is comprised of 30 districts and three student chapters.

“Assemblyman Jones is a friend of the chiropractic profession, a passionate advocate for doctors of chiropractic and those we serve,” said Matt Hubbard, DC, President of CCA. “Assemblyman Jones is a strong believer in the preventive, holistic approach to health and wellness and supports our efforts to improve California’s healthcare delivery system. We are grateful to have him as an ally in Sacramento and are proud to honor Assemblyman Brian Jones as a Chiropractic Champion.”

Doctors of chiropractic are educated, trained and licensed by the state of California to treat those conditions, diseases, or injuries in a manner consistent with chiropractic methods and techniques.

“I’m honored to have received the Chiropractic Champion Award from the CCA,” said Assemblyman Brian Jones.  “As the Vice-Chair of the Assembly Business, Professions and Consumer Protections Committee, I’ve learned a great deal about the importance of chiropractic services to Californians.  My hope is that with the many changes in healthcare and the ever growing need for workers compensation reform, the profession will continue to be successful in providing Californians with preventative healthcare options that work best for them.”

Jones added, “I firmly believe that small businesses are the backbone to California’s economy.  That said, I understand the chiropractic profession is largely made up of small business owners.  I will continue to fight for issues to ensure your practices can keep the doors open, and not be forced out by the overreach of government regulations.”

CCA is passionately committed to the advancement of chiropractic and to the individual’s holistic wellbeing. For more information, please visit www.CalChiro.org.
